The world is full of people everywhere and geography seeks to answer many questions about people living on our planet.
Where are they? How are they spread around? What makes more people stay in some places than others? What makes the population grow the way it does? Will there be too many people one day? What controls the growth of the population? Why are more people coming to cities? What problems and challenges do cities face? What was God’s plan with people? How does all of this affect us?
In this module we will look at some of the ways geographers and others have approached these questions and try to come to some of our own conclusions as well.
To start with here is a presentation that captures some of the information and thinking you will need to master. Click on the link and watch the presentation then post your comments at the end of the blog.
Here is an assignment on the topics of population density and population distribution.
