Lifebridge Students Welcome

Hi Beautiful people!

We are going to be learning in many new ways over the next little while.

I am going to be making use of several sites to communicate information to you and I want you to make a point of checking out these sites at least once every day to see if there is new work or information for you.

First is this site : www.lifebridgeschool.co.za/wp which is a blog where I will post news, inspirational information, instructions for assignments, and general information. You are most welcome and strongly encouraged to comment and reply to the blog postings in the space below (Where it says “Leave a reply”) I would love to see plenty of lively discussion and debate taking place there. You can also ask questions there. Some posts will also contain links to wiki entries.

Second is www.lifebridgeschool.co.za/wiki which is like wikipedia and is where you will find notes, information about learning content and links to useful websites, youtube videos and articles. This will be almost like a textbook and library combined. You can link to entries on this page and get useful information.

If you need to clarify issues, ask questions or discuss work with me please use WhatsApp (0720452674) or email (lifebridgeilc@gmail.com) or (especially if you want to video call or have a chat) Skype (johan.rich1) (If you don’t know Skype I’d suggest you become familiar with it as it is used a lot in the workplace. It is a free app you can download for your computer, tablet or cell phone. If you use Chromebook you can’t usually download apps, but you can download most of them to a flash drive and run them from there.

Also check your email every day as sometimes I will send individual messages and these may be quite urgent. I will also try to put out a short alert on WhatsApp Lifebridge parents group when there are new important posts.

Lastly do make a point of visiting our Facebook page regularly (every day ideally) because there will also be stuff there from time to time that is relevant

Well that’s enough for you to digest for now, but I’ll be posting more stuff soon. If it is only for some students (e.g. grade 8 or Geography ) then that will appear in the title, otherwise it is general and for everyone.
